Futurity Livestock Management

The cattle are managed in a way to promote a working life. The calves are yard weaned and culled if temperament is an issue. The stock are worked with controlled pressure using dogs and horses.

The sale bulls are managed in one large contemporary group and graze on forage crops of Oats in winter and sorghum in summer.

All females are expected to produce and rear a calf every year or the are culled.

Our heifers are joined to calve at 2yrs.
